The Wyoming State Board of Outfitters and Professional Guides is now able to accept credit card payments via the link below:

You can also call the office directly to pay with a card over the phone
You must submit your complete application packet via email in conjunction with your card payment to avoid any confusion with license issuance.
Licenses will not be issued without receipt of both the card payment and the completed application.
Applications and exams, if applicable, can be emailed to amanda.mckee@wyo.gov and brandy.c.durante@wyo.gov . They can also be faxed to 307-777-6715
If you are submitting payment for more than one application, ensure that all applications (and exams, if applicable) are accounted for. Include a list of all guide names and verify the amount you are paying is correct or the payment will be rejected and licenses will not be issued.
*As of January 1, 2025, the New Professional Guide Exam available on our website is the only PG Guide exam we will accept for new applicants. Please make sure the exam you submit has the Revised 2025 notation in the top left corner, along with the links for study materials on the cover page. Any applications we receive with an accompanying old exams, will be returned to the sender without consideration.
The new exam has been made available on our website as of December 31, 2024. All licensed Outfitters have also received an email copy of the new exam. It is still the same multiple choice format, with some true / false questions, and a total of 95 questions. You must score a 75% or higher to pass this exam.
Board Staff would like to remind all Outfitters and Professional Guides that guide renewal applications can be submitted at any time during the calendar year. Office protocol dictates that an application be mailed in with the corresponding licensing fees and guide exam, if applicable.
To fill out the form by hand, click on the link and then click on the print button in the upper right.
To save a fillable form that you can type in, click on the link and then click the download button in the upper right. Open the document from your computer and fill it out. This option will let you save a copy to your computer.
